Chapter 253

Chapter 253

“Miroku, you don’t have to investigate, I can tell you everything directly.

Everything you see is the merit of the birth of my Buddhist family and the merit of my official appearance as a Buddha.

For tens of thousands of years, we have been preaching, but we have not established our own organization. Now the time is ripe, and Shaolin Temple is officially born.

According to the Buddhist classification, the incense offerings are divided into three Buddhas, four great Bodhisattvas, eight great Vajras, five hundred Arhats, three thousand Jiedi, bhikkhunis, bhikkhus, upasakas, upasikas and other great saints…” With a wave of his hand, a table was taken out by Duobao, and then fine wine and spiritual fruits were taken out, and he gestured for Maitreya to sit down.

"Fellow Taoist Tathagata, you know that my Buddha has three rules and six precepts, and the precepts cannot be broken." Maitreya knew that from the moment Tathagata sat down, everyone had already started discussing the Tao.

This discussion on the Tao, regarding the Buddha's insights, is also a touch upon the Tao.

If played well, you can strike at the other person's heart of Taoism, thus making them obey your wishes, and even achieve the effect of conversion.

"What is precept?" Staring at Maitreya, Duobao smiled and asked immediately.

"Precepts are the principles of Buddhism, mainly including the Five Precepts and the Ten Virtues..." When talking about precepts, Maitreya immediately became excited and began to interpret them one by one.

"Maitreya, I eat meat and drink wine, but I have Buddha in my heart. I do not kill and I do good deeds. You talk about Buddha, but you kill and burn people, and you harm all living things. But you don't eat a single bite of meat and don't drink a sip of wine. So who is the Buddha between us?

Maitreya, as the saying goes, wine and meat pass through the intestines, but remain in the heart of the Buddha.

The so-called precepts shouldn't be about form, but essence, because our actions stem from our inner thoughts. Following our hearts, using them to pursue goodness, and exercising self-discipline, is the true Buddha. As for our actions, they are harmless. "Pouring the wine, Tathagata took a sip, then looked at Maitreya."

"Tathagata, you said that if we want to restrain our original mind, we should observe the precepts. When you see wine, you want to drink it. When you see meat, you want to eat it. These are all greedy thoughts. If you don't restrain your thoughts, how can you become a Buddha?" When Maitreya heard Duobao talk about thoughts, he couldn't help laughing and immediately refuted.

"Didn't Buddha recite it?" Duobao's eyes curved with smile when Buddha was mentioned. This Maitreya is still too young.

The Buddha of the Taoist Jie Yin and the Taoist Zhunti is still the Hinayana Buddhism. Talking about the Buddha at this time is a joke.

"Buddha is the highest state, Buddha is omnipotent." With his hands folded together, Maitreya looked pious.

Maitreya knew that Duobao’s question could not be answered because the Taoist Master Jie Yin and the Taoist Master Zhunti also had desires, so he started to roll back and refused to mention it.

"Since Buddha is omnipotent, can he create a stone that no one can lift?" Duobao and Ye Chongren learned a lot about rolling knives and started digging the hole immediately.

"Of course you can. Buddha is omnipotent." Maitreya answered immediately, apparently not realizing that he had fallen into a trap.

"Then can the Buddha you speak of lift up that stone that no one else can lift?"

At this moment, Duobao almost laughed out loud.

Maitreya said that Buddha is omnipotent, so you are contradicting yourself.

First let your Buddha create a stone that no one can lift, and then let the Buddha you speak of lift it up.

No matter what you do, the Buddha you speak of is not omnipotent.

"Tathagata, do you find it fun to do this?" Unable to refute, Maitreya shook his head and continued to act like a spoiled child.

"Mileku, what's the point of you doing this? Is it that difficult to prove that others are better than you?

My Buddhist thought is advanced, and it is also based on the incense of the human race. Now we have an incense system. We even built the Shaolin Temple. In what way is it not more powerful than the Buddha you are talking about?

Can the precepts you set up control others? I believe in your Buddha, but I just want to eat meat and drink alcohol. What can your Buddha do to me? What can it do to sentient beings?

You emphasize purity of mind and few desires, but look at your Buddhas. They have attained Buddhahood. Are their desires less than yours?

Look at you again, if you can't beat me, would you discuss with me?

Wake up! The Buddha of Buddhism is the true Buddha, because we ourselves are our own Buddha. The Buddha is in our hearts, the Buddha is under our feet, the Buddha is everywhere. And the Buddha is still being controlled.
