Chapter 1288 Drunk out of her mind

"Young miss, are you going back home?" A beautiful mer shook Yu Tong by her shoulders as he tried to wake her up. He had been serving her for a while and now that she was drunk past her ability, he couldn't just leave her be.

"Whats the matter?" One of the mers who served in the bar owned by Yu Dong walked over to where Yu Tong was lying on the bar aisle. Tears were sticking at the corner of her eyes as she muttered about not wanting to get married or something of the sort.

"She is drunk," the mer serving Yu Tong answered as he cupped his cheek and looked at the woman asleep on the counter. "I told her that she was ordering drinks way too strong but she didn't listen and asked me to serve this and that, now she is drunk out of her mind and I have no idea how to deal with her."

The other mer looked down at Yu Tong and pursed his lips. He then said, "Shall we drop her home?"

"What drop her at home?" Xiao Hua who walked out of the office, sashayed over to where the two mers were discussing what to do with Yu Tong. He looked down at the woman whose face was covered with her long brown hair and huffed, "Just throw this worm out of the bar, why do you have to drop her home? Do you want to be the next victim of a new crime scene?"

He then rolled his eyes after he was done scolding the two mers and walked away. A sweet humming escaped past his lips as he was excited to see Yu Dong, the two of them were going to pay their respects to his parents in two days and he was very excited to spend time with his fiancee.

"Brother Hua is really fierce. He hates drunken women so much that he even asked us to throw his sister-in-law out," the voice of the mer serving Yu Tong came wafting over to Xiao Hua who paused in his strides and then whipped his head to look at the two mers who flinched.

"What do you mean by my sister-in-law?" Xiao Hua questioned. What kind of drunkard of a sister in law he had for him to not recognize her?

"Yu Tong," the two mers replied as they pointed at the woman whose head was lying on the counter.

"What? That worm-like woman is Yu Tong?" Xiao Hua screeched as he turned around and picked up his long pants before rushing over to where Yu Tong was. He then brushed her hair away from her face and was stunned when he realized that the woman was really Yu Tong!

"I think I will go and search for her in the town," Yu Dong said to her family as she was quite worried about Yu Tong.

Old Madam Yu was really upset with what Second Madam Yu had done, she pursed her lips and then fretted, "What is going on in the head of that girl? How could she even think of marrying her daughter off without telling her? I can't even fathom how awful Tong'er must have felt after finding out that her marriage was fixed without her knowing!"

No sooner did she finish speaking she started coughing as Old Madam Yu had been really upset with her daughter.

"Grandmother calm down," Chen Mi offered a calming tea to Old Madam Yu who took it and drowned it in one gulp while muttering about Second Madam Yu losing her head.

Old Madam Fang patted Old Madam Yu on the back while Yu Dong made her way to the gates but as soon as she arrived at the door, she heard the sound of a carriage stopping outside.

A bit startled she hurriedly opened the door as Yu Tong didn't like to use a carriage and the stopping of the carriage made Yu Dong's heart go off in alarm.

"Can you tell me why your sister is pouring her heart out while crying about not getting married?"
