Back then the carelessness and the nonchalant way her mother had talked about her safety, caused Yu Tong who had returned home to turn around and leave once again.

She was angry and frustrated because of the casual words of her mother, though Yu Tong knew that she shouldn't be bothered by the words of her mother. Ever since she was young her mother and Daddy had carelessly treated her whenever Yu Cheng was concerned but that night, Yu Tong felt something snap inside her.

Thus, instead of going back home, Yu Tong ran away from her home and arrived at the town. As she was brimming with anger, she had rushed over to the tavern where the Boss Lady used to keep mers and sell them for a night.

Though Yu Tong did not know much about selling and buying the body, she had heard from Yu Dong that staying a night at a tavern helped her release the stress. So, she had arrived at the tavern where Yu Dong went every night.

It was her first time stepping into a place that was filled with so much raucous laughter and music. Her eyes were filled with nothing but red as the entire building was covered with red. Red curtains, red candles and even the mers were dressed in vibrant red clothing as they pleased the customers in the tavern.

'WOW,' Yu Tong exclaimed as she looked at the building that was filled with nothing but red colour. She looked left and then she looked right, the more she looked around the more confused she became as Yu Tong looked at the mers who were beckoning her to come to them.

'Young miss come here,'

'Young miss, do you need company for the night?'

Just as Yu Tong was afraid that she was going to be pulled along by the mers who were teasing her, a lofty and gently voice came from behind ——

If you hadn't taken the money then Brother Hanjing would be safe without losing anything!"

"In the end, it was my fault! My fault that I was so useless that I couldn't save him, I stayed quiet and listened to like you a fool. Hoping that things would hic get better but they never did."

Yu Tong raised her head and looked at her mother, "How long are you going to push me to an edge like this? If this is how it's going to be then I might as well——" she did not finish speaking as Yu Tong leaned back and fell down the cliff.
