Chapter 1503 Big Yu

When Ding Nuannuan heard the words of Big Yu, she heaved a sigh of relief and inwardly started to dream about kicking out the mers and their children before taking over the big house for herself.

If she could take over the house and land of the Yu family then she wouldn't have to worry about anything! All she needed to do was to eat and sleep all day long.

With that thought in her head, Ding Nuannuan turned and walked back to her house where she found her eldest uncle and second uncle sitting in their room while her grandfather screamed at the top of his lungs,@@@@

"What do you mean that you will only cook the rice porridge and nothing else?"Old Master Ding asked the two mers. He couldn't believe that they were actually refusing to cook food for their family!

Master Xu turned to look at Old Master Ding and puffed out his chest, he sneered and said, "We aren't going to eat the meat so why should we cook it? My wife told me yesterday that this village owner respects and protects the mers. If you dare to touch me then I will go and complain to the village head! See if she keeps you in the village!"

"I don't like Mom, she is so stupid," Ding Nuannuan turned to climb the bed and then placed her head in Gu Mo's lap. "Daddy, can't we have Madam Yu as my mom? You like her too, right?"

Gu Mo's face changed. He looked at the door of his room and then pinched his daughter's face.

"Don't talk nonsense. If your mother hears it, she will beat the two of us," Gu Mo threatened his daughter lest she say nonsense in front of Ding Xuelan. That woman was good at nothing but her fists hurt a lot.

Ding Nuannuan however looked at her daddy with burning eyes and said, "But Madam Yu is so cool. I like her a lot, daddy please make her my mother."

Gu Mo's eyes flashed as he looked away from the burning look with which Ding Nuannuan was looking at him. After a small pause he said to his daughter, "Nuannuan, you are a child. How can you say something like this? You cannot talk nonsense, you know?"

"Oh I am not talking nonsense Daddy," Ding Nuannuan said to her father with a frown on her face. "Madam Yu was the one who came up with the idea of eating locusts and using them as fertilizer. She is also the one who told the villagers that there was going to be a locust plague. Because of her, the villagers' crops were rescued on time."

"Isn't she a wonderful woman?" Ding Nuannuan tempted her daddy, if Gu Mo could really become Yu Dong's husband then she would become Yu Dong's daughter and kick everyone out!

"She is but you cannot say such things if someone hears you say such words they will beat your daddy and you as well," Gu Mo said to Ding Nuannuan who rolled her eyes and then responded perfunctorily, and then said, "Alright, I won't say anything but tomorrow can you take me to the playground where the children play? I want to make friends with the children from the Yu house."

She then turned to look at Gu Mo and said to him, "Maybe if I get close to her children, Madam Yu would care for me as well?"

Gu Mo was excited when he heard his daughter's plans. He nodded and agreed with her, "That's right. There is no way Madam Yu will not like my daughter. You are so smart and incredibly talented, of course, she would like you."

Ding Nuannuan smiled at her daddy but inwardly she was rather dissatisfied with her daddy. He could have totally helped her by pleasing Madam Yu but he refused.

Now he was banking on her as he hoped that she, Ding Nuannuan would be able to please Yu Dong and he would be able to taste the fruits of her hard work.

"Daddy, I want to take a nap," Ding Nuannuan said to Gu Mo who nodded and picked her up before putting her down on the bed.

At first Gu, Mo was not sleepy but as he patted Ding Nuannuan to sleep, he slowly felt sleepy and closed his eyes. Once he closed his eyes, Ding Nuannuan opened hers and turned to look at her daddy.

She said to Big Yu, "Now what?"
