Chapter 365 The Normal Way to Leave the Team
Chapter 365 The Normal Way to Leave the Team
Over the next week, Hakushu and Hachiman Kairin began their plan to leave the team.
He and Hailing visited many live houses in different locations.
Sometimes it happens in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, but most of the time it happens at night.
This is perhaps because everyone has their own things to do during the day, and these band members obviously only have time and energy at night.
Fortunately, there wasn't a need to run around to more than thirty bands.
This is because Hailing has some part-time band members, and in fact, they haven't had any organized training for a long time, let alone live performances.
The group chat was also quiet and deserted.
This can be interpreted as the point where "no one is coming anymore."
There was no way to arrange a meeting with a band that was practically defunct. Hailing naturally gave up on the idea and simply explained in the group chat that she would no longer be a part-time bassist.
Everyone expressed their understanding, and after exchanging a few polite words, Hailing quietly left the group chat.
……
Bai Qiu felt that she was a bit tired these past few days.
Overall, however, Hailing's departure from the band went quite smoothly.
After all, we're all normal people. Hailing is just a part-time bassist. If she doesn't want to continue, she should just explain it clearly.
Many bands felt regretful when they heard that Hai Ling was leaving and tried to persuade her to stay.
It is evident that Hailing enjoys a fairly good reputation in the mercenary world.
And so, time has come to this day.
The weather was quite nice a few days ago, but it started raining today.
However, both Hakushu and Hachiman Kairin arrived at the agreed-upon live house on time.
The two put away their umbrellas, their hair and clothes still damp from rushing through the rain, but upon seeing each other, they both smiled faintly.
Bai Qiu wiped the rain off her clothes with a tissue and asked:
"Hailin, if I remember correctly, this is the last one, right?"
"Yes, this is the last one."
Upon hearing this, Hai Ling's expression turned serious, and she said softly, "This band is called Disruption."
Bai Qiu nodded slightly, without saying anything more.
He followed Hailing's steps until they arrived at the outside of a recording studio, where Hailing stopped.
Bai Qiu tilted her head to look at Hai Ling, encouraging her with a relaxed smile:
"Just like with the previous bands, I just need to explain the reasons clearly, and they will understand."
Hai Ling breathed a sigh of relief and nodded gently: "Okay, come in with me."
“Of course,” Bai Qiu replied.
Then, after knocking on the door a few more times and waiting for a response from inside, she opened the door and went in.
"Oh, is Hailing here?"
Accompanied by a somewhat enthusiastic voice, the person sitting on the stool in the room adjusting the instrument looked over.
They are the other two members of Disruption.
One is a lead singer with brown hair who gives off a gentle vibe, and the other is a drummer with blond hair who looks mature.
Both of them look like mature older sisters, and are actually a few years older than Hailing.
Including the mercenary Hachiman Kairin, Disruption only has three people in total.
But Disruption's fame is in no way inferior to that of professional bands.
The two members of Disruption noticed that besides the familiar Hailing, there was also an unfamiliar boy with Hailing.
They were all somewhat surprised.
However, being mature older sisters, both of them quickly responded with polite smiles.
"Hailin, is she your friend?"
The drummer spoke first, while giving Bai Qiu a curious look.
"Correct."
Yawata Kairin nodded and said, "I had him come with me because of some things."
Upon hearing this, the drummer exchanged a glance with the lead singer and couldn't help but laugh:
"Haha, Hailing actually brought a friend along. This is the first time, isn't it?"
"Mm." The lead singer smiled and said to Bai Qiu, "Hello, Hai Ling's friend."
"Hello."
Bai Qiu gave a polite smile, raised her hand to greet the two of them, and then quietly stepped aside.
It wasn't his turn to speak yet, since he was only accompanying Hailing.
At that moment, Hai Ling also took a step forward, and spoke first with a slightly solemn expression:
"Gentlemen, there is something I want to tell you."
Facing the band where she had worked part-time the longest, and thinking about what she was about to say, Hachiman Kairin's expression was somewhat complicated.
Hearing Hai Ling's suddenly serious tone and her strange act of bringing a friend, the lead singer and the drummer were taken aback and looked at Hai Ling with suspicion.
"Hailin, what's wrong?"
The lead singer blinked, looked at Hailing with tender eyes, and asked softly.
"Oh right, Hailin-chan suddenly became so serious."
The drummer spoke in a relaxed tone.
Hachiman Kairin paused for a moment, and as the rain pattered against the window, she took a deep breath, slowly parted her lips, and said:
"I'm planning to leave Disruption."
"Eh?" x2
Their expressions clearly froze for a moment, and they involuntarily opened their mouths, looking at Hailing with surprise.
Why quit?
The lead singer stared at Hailing in surprise and blurted out the question instinctively.
"Yeah, Hailing, why are you suddenly saying that?"
The drummer stood up anxiously, her voice rising slightly, and her tone urgent: "Haven't we always worked together very well?"
"Feel sorry."
Seeing their reactions, Hachiman Kairin lowered her voice slightly, her voice tinged with apology.
Not wanting any further misunderstandings between the two, Hailing quickly opened her mouth and earnestly explained:
"There's a reason for that. Not only did I quit Disruption, but I also quit all the other part-time bands..."
"I plan to stay with one band from now on and I don't want to be a part-time musician anymore."
"Thank you for taking care of me during this time."
In closing, Hachiman Kairin gave them a slight bow.
