REINCARNATION OF THE STRONGEST WAR HERO

Chapter 234: THE SOUL SWORD

Chapter 234: THE SOUL SWORD

"Who is it?" Edward asked."Elder, it’s me. Nathan," a voice replied from outside.

"Oh, Nathan, it’s you." Edward’s gaze shifted to Zereth. "Go and see what he needs."

Nathan was one of the guards stationed outside.

Zereth nodded and walked toward the door.

Creak!

He pushed it open. But the moment he did—

Shhhhk!

A fist burst straight through his chest, crushing his heart before he could even react. His eyes went wide—not from pain, but from sheer shock.

"It’s yo—" His words died on his lips as his body crumpled to the floor.

Though more mature, it was the same face that had once driven him to the brink of death years ago.

Logan Smith!

And now... that same face stood before him as he lay dying. But this time, there was no escape.

"I wish I had never responded to Mirena when her cousin approached me. I wish...." He couldn’t finish his whisper to himself.

The other two men at the table staggered back, chairs screeching as they leapt to their feet.

But they didn’t even get the chance to shout.

Whoosh!

A sword flashed forward. In a single stroke, both their throats were cut clean. They collapsed, blood spilling across the floorboards.

Elder Edward’s face twisted in disbelief. "How is this possible? How did he get here without anyone noticing?"

But his question never found an answer. His vision blurred, his body weakening as life slipped away.

Logan had moved too swiftly—too precisely. Not a single sound had escaped their throats, but the thuds of their bodies hitting the floor carried into the next room.

Inside the next room....

Alice sat helplessly on the chair, her hands bound tightly behind it. A storm of emotions churned inside her.

She was happy—Logan was alive.

But fear gnawed at her heart. If he came here, he might die.

She longed to see his face. Yet at the same time, she dreaded it, afraid that seeing him now would mean losing him forever. She didn’t know what to do.

"Is it too much to ask... just to live peacefully with my son?" she whispered to herself.

Tears rolled down her cheeks.

And in front of her sat the young man—the mastermind. He waited with ease, fully confident in his plan.

But then, sudden noises erupted from the room next door.

"What’s going on in there?"

The young man rose from his seat after pondering for a while, frowning as he stepped toward the door.

But before his hand could even reach it—

! What’s it doing here?" he muttered.

But his words didn’t go unheard. Logan’s gaze sharpened, his mind buzzing with shock after shock.

"How does he know it’s a Soul Sword? And even where it came from? Who exactly is this man?"
