Rio ignored the questioning eyes of Aelthar and kept staring at the scene. His fists clenched in anger and a cold aura seeped out through his very soul, as he tried hard to suppress the sad thought swimming in his mind.
For Aelthar everything must have been happening on an unknown land, just another piece of Arcadia _ but even in the ruins and sea of blood, Rio could notice some things which helped him identify the place.
After all, how could he not when it was the very city he called home. When the island of corpses was where his castle used to be.

Rio took a deep breath, forcing himself to stop from thinking wildly as he kept watching the scene without as much a blink.
The island of corpses wasn't just bodies of monsters piled up one over the other—it also had a few other corpses mixed in. A knight impaled on his own banner, intestines spooled around the pole like party streamers. Smoke flying over ashes, while the shadow of a woman clutching her chest got etched on the sidewall.
Rio didn't know what he was searching for. Yet his eyes kept scanning the scene for every minor detail.
The scene shifted once more and in front of 'Rio' appeared a few figures. All clad in shining armors and golden aura surrounding their bodies. As if all of them were blessed by luck and light.
They hovered in the air, protected by a silver barrier which blocked all the lightning bolts from destroying them.
They all looked at the scene of carnage around them and couldn't help but show expressions of fear, shock, and disbelief. Yet they all hardened their resolve and pointed their weapons at 'Rio'.
"You've done enough damage, Rio. Caused enough deaths...It's time to finally end this." A heroic figure took the lead, a halo of golden flames flickering behind his head. Making him look like a god descended on mortal planes.
"Your villainous rule ends now, Shiva. And just like your eclipse, it's time for you to disappear from this land forever." Another figure stepped up, his hands holding two sharp daggers designed with a snake's head at the hilt.
"Remember what I told you the last time we met, _ I am here to fulfill that promise. You will die in my hands."
"You killed my cult, destroyed my churches_slaughtered all my followers, going as far as to make my faith go extinct. Yet you failed to kill me. But trust me, I won't make the same mistake."
"You shouldn't have meddled in my affair, Rio. Had you accepted my offer, all of this.. could've been avoided. Everyone, including her, would've been alive. But you were too stubborn...heh, do you regret it now."
"You had me watch as your minions murdered my family. Just because you wanted to set an example, just to spread fear – I hated it." A young girl with a frosty face said, "And that's why watching you cry and mourn as you wander over the lands filled me with so much joy. ___ but it's enough games now. It's time to say goodbye, you devil piece of shit."
One by one all those seven warriors came forward and finished their dialogues. Each of them holding a grudge against him, each mocking his suffering and enjoying his pain.
"You cannot fight all of us together, Rio. So give up and just accept your death. Heavens will never take your soul, so I'll just shatter it and hope you don't enter hell. – Consider this my final mercy on you, for her sake."
The righteous hero spoke calmly once more, yet 'Rio' ignored the man who believed himself to be his nemesis, but glanced at the sky. Where behind the clouds hid a few figures of gods, carefully watching his every move.
"Heaven, Hell – what does it matter? I've already lost everything. Everyone." 'Rio' said as he disappeared from his place.
Appearing inside the magical barrier, right behind the hero and in front of a young boy with short black hair.
A sound that carried the weight of loss, of rage, of a shattered soul calling out to the darkness.
"Useless." He muttered after a while. His voice was a chilling whisper, yet everyone on Arcadia seemed to hear it. "You're all useless." 'Rio' muttered and closed his eyes, as if he simply gave up.
"Arghhhhhhhhhhhh" 'Rio' screamed like a madman, at the sky as his head fell backwards. His mind, clouded by the images of everyone he failed, of everyone he lost.
The sight of his sorrow was saddening, as even through the mirror, Aelthar could feel his pain, causing all his previous suspicions to be forgotten, being replaced by a tinge of sympathy for this man.
Yet what happened next, shattered his illusion and shocked the god to his very core.
Aelthar watched as following Rio's final scream, a shockwave released from his body. Sweeping in every direction, destroying everything in it's path.
And only a mere moment later, under the horrified eyes of Aelthar, the whole planet of Arcadia was swept off under this wave. Leaving not a single soul to survive in it's wake.
As if destroying every living being wasn't enough, the next instant, the entire planet fell apart in the galaxy. Turning into small pieces of stones which floated the cosmos as nameless asteroids...
The mirror moved once more and the scene showed Rio lying unconscious on a stone platform while pieces of Arcadia floated around him, forming a gravitational ring.
.....
The vision ended, and the mirror shattered.
Falling down to the ground in small pieces much like the world it had shown.
Yet neither Rio, nor Apollo, cared about it anymore.
Both of them just stared at the empty air in front of them. Lost in thoughts for what the fuck actually happened in that vision.
....
Unlike the duo standing in the dungeon, the duo sitting inside Rio's head, had a totally different expression.
Rio and Aelthar may have not noticed, but right before the mirror 'Rio's final scream, system saw a glint of red shine in his eyes, before the shock wave set off dust and debris everywhere, blocking it's sight.
This shift in pupils lasted barely a 1/10th of a second, yet the system was sure it saw that right.
Across the system, was the figure of it's horror. The constant source of it's nightmares. The unknown entity with similar weird but overpowered red eyes.
The Devil watched Rio through their connection and grinned in response.
"So you CAN awaken in this timeline." It spoke in a lost language that no one had spoke or heard about in over many many millennia.
"That means, it's time for us to finally meet, my dear 'host'." The Devil said, before laughing out loud in the same crazed manner as Rio.
And for the first time, the lines of fate shuddered in the sheer terror of what's to come.
