"That's true..." Ning Hua nodded in agreement.

Lu Xiu smiled happily again: "I won't try this. It would be embarrassing for a commander to get drunk after just one drop of alcohol. I'll drink this bottle."

Lu Xiu pointed to another bottle of wine: "This is also a strong liquor. I can't drink too much. I still have office work to do tomorrow. So, let's each have a drink, and then go back to the room to rest, okay?"

Ning Hua did feel dizzy, but she stood up quickly and held onto the armrest of the sofa: "You still have work to do tomorrow, go to bed early, I'm a little sleepy too."

However, he did have a lot of official business to do tomorrow, so Lu Xiu opened the bedroom door and went to the study to do some work.

It was late at night, and except for the sound of him tapping on the screen, everything around him was quiet. Lu Xiu worked hard and focused to quickly process a pile of accumulated documents.

Lu Xiu pushed the documents aside, stood up, and walked towards the second floor.
