Bella was still puzzled by her reaction after finding out Damian was from The Sinclair Family, but seeing that she didn’t want to talk about it, she didn’t ask further.

Bella said, "Aunt Rhodes, I know, you don’t have to worry about me."

"How can I not worry? You always take care of others but never look after yourself," Aunt Rhodes sighed, seeing their driver pulling up, and said, "We’ll head off now."

"Alright, Aunt Rhodes, goodbye." Bella gently ruffled Bonnie’s hair, "Bonnie, goodbye too."

"Goodbye, Bella," Bonnie waved timidly at her, still evidently scared.

As soon as Aunt Rhodes left with Bonnie, Old Mr. Langdon arrived at the villa’s entrance.

Old Mr. Langdon said, "Damian, today’s incident was my oversight. Ah, what a mess this turned out to be. Don’t worry, I’ll call Jaden Lynch’s father."

"Old Mr. Langdon, there’s no need." Damian said calmly, "This is a matter between Jaden and me, I will handle it myself."

Old Mr. Langdon intended to plead for Jaden Lynch a little, but Damian’s words immediately shut that down. It’s clear Damian was truly angry.

"Alright then." Old Mr. Langdon’s relationship with The Lynch Family wasn’t strong enough to offend Damian over Jaden Lynch, so he nodded, "Today’s gathering was spoiled, shall we plan to play golf together another day?"

"Sure." Damian wasn’t in a good mood, but given Old Mr. Langdon’s ties with his family, and since today’s incident wasn’t his fault, he couldn’t rightfully take it out on him, but he also didn’t put on a favorable face.

Old Mr. Langdon turned his attention to Bella, "Ms. Acker, I’m truly sorry for the unpleasant experience today."

She wasn’t behaving like a pampered woman, she seemed quite sincere. Plus, if she hadn’t held onto Damian earlier, he surely would have already stepped in.

Old Mr. Langdon reconsidered his view of Bella internally, and his expression became a bit more genuine, "Those are minor issues, do come over with Damian next time to hang out. We don’t have many young ones at home, seeing you all makes me happy."

"Okay." Bella nodded.

"Old Mr. Langdon, we’ll be off now." Damian nodded to him and stepped into the car driven by The Langdon Family’s driver.

Bella also bowed to Old Mr. Langdon before getting into the passenger seat.

Damian started the car and drove off silently.

Bella pursed her lips and said, "Damian, don’t be angry, I wasn’t really at a loss."

Damian glanced at her, his look was clear. With all those injuries on your body, you call that not at a loss?

Bella quickly added, "Really. Even though Vivian did block me first, I was the one who hit her. I slapped her and scratched Jaden Lynch quite a bit. I didn’t let them get away with anything."

Damian glanced at her again, seeing the small wounds on her arm, feeling both heartache and anger.

Heartache because she was hurt, angry because that bastard Jaden Lynch dared to bully her, and he hadn’t even gotten the chance to deal with it earlier!

"Let’s go to the hospital to treat your wounds first." Damian said, focusing on the road, "But this incident has nothing to do with your job, I won’t just sit back and do nothing."

"Okay, okay." Bella nodded firmly, "I just didn’t want you to hit Jaden Lynch in front of so many people earlier, it would have embarrassed Old Mr. Langdon. Whatever you decide to do next, I’ll follow your lead. Hmph, bullying me, go get him, hubby!"
