However, just as Lingyu was struggling against the branches, she inadvertently glimpsed pairs of shifty eyes hidden in the treetops. Lingyu smiled slightly and nodded gently in understanding. Then, she took out the crystal bead given to her by the mysterious old man from her bosom. When the crystal bead appeared before everyone, it instantly emitted a dazzling light, illuminating the surrounding dark corners. After a brief exchange, the sprites showed great friendliness and trust towards Lingyu. They gathered around, chattering excitedly. Lingyu gripped her sword hilt, ready for battle. However, the giant beast did not attack immediately, but merely eyed her warily. Then, Lingyu noticed a faintly glowing stone platform at the beast's feet, upon which rested a dusty scroll. She guessed that the scroll might hold special significance.
Ling Yu slowly approached the stone platform. The giant beast roared even louder, but it didn't stop her. When she picked up the scroll, she discovered that the writing on it had automatically transformed into something she could understand. It contained information about a long-lost magical skill. Just as she was reading, the ruins began to shake violently, as if they were about to collapse. Ling Yu quickly put the scroll away and searched for an exit. With her agility and calm judgment, she finally found a hidden door and escaped the ruins. The giant beast disappeared along with the ruins.
